About this Location
USO Arizona aims to make the active-duty lifestyle of a service member less stressful by providing installation support at Newcomer Orientations, during In Processing events and at Command and Community Briefings.
Our USO programs and services such as Demonstration Kitchen, Holiday Block Leave, Field Support at Troop Movements, Deployments and Homecomings, not only focus on curating meaningful connections and experiences for our troops, but we also work hard to meet the needs and empower the resilient military spouses and families.
USO Arizona works with the four active-duty bases in the state, as well as National Guard and Reserve units to host at least four baby showers each calendar year and provide military family programming through family meals, events, and movie nights. We are committed to letting our troops and their families know that no matter where they are, they will always be celebrated and appreciated for making the sacrifices that they do.
In 2021, USO Arizona served as a “home away from home” for the 92,154 program participants and 68,853 center visitors, resulting in more than 161,000 service connections. These numbers could never be achieved without our amazing team of 312 volunteers who over the course of the year donated 17,652 hours of their time.
USO Arizona looks forward to opening a new center at MCAS Yuma, which will support an additional 4,500 active-duty service members and their families. In 2022, we aim to recruit more individuals who desire to give back to our service members and the military families who have already given so much to our country.

“Thank you so much for all that the USO does for families, especially during this very interesting time we live in... We moved here a year ago, ahead of my husband. We knew no one and could not live in military housing due to our dog, so we felt very isolated. It felt very lonely before we started coming to the USO. Thank you for being there for us, especially during that difficult transition. We really appreciate all that you do to support families!"The Hickman Family, USO San Diego Find out how to support USO
