About this Location
In 2021, USO Northwest celebrated 55 years of service and hospitality, unwavering in its dedication to our troops despite the continuing challenges faced by the pandemic.
We brightened up our USO center at SeaTac International Airport, which operates 24/7 to greet an estimated 150,000 guests annually, with a three-month renovation of new floors, improved lighting, freshly painted walls, security upgrade, and enhanced entryway.
In addition to our two airport centers at SeaTac and Portland supporting traveling military personnel and our two centers at JBLM serving thousands of troops and military families on base, our Mobile Canteen successfully provided critical outreach to service members and their families at remote bases, including NAS Whidbey Island and Fairchild Air Force Base.
USO Northwest values the commitment and passion of our USO volunteers. Thanks to the joint efforts of our 295 volunteers, we delivered 56,538 total service connections, with 22,947 program participants and 33,591 center visits, making sure our troops and their families felt the appreciation of a grateful nation.
Collectively, they donated over 16,500 hours of their time to ensure our ability to operate our centers at any time of the day and always offer assistance to the military community in a meaningful way.

“Thank you so much for all that the USO does for families, especially during this very interesting time we live in... We moved here a year ago, ahead of my husband. We knew no one and could not live in military housing due to our dog, so we felt very isolated. It felt very lonely before we started coming to the USO. Thank you for being there for us, especially during that difficult transition. We really appreciate all that you do to support families!"The Hickman Family, USO San Diego Find out how to support USO
