About this Location
Across San Diego County, from Camp Pendleton to the bases in San Diego, our team of USO staff and volunteers led the charge mission first, as we delivered an outstanding 213,026 total service connections in 2021.
Our meaningful programs such as the Mobile Farmers Market, where military families have access to fresh produce, dog food, baby essential items, and countless resources, are hosted regularly at Liberty Station. Our volunteers spread USO cheer at the MCAS Miramar, U.S. Coast Guard Sector, Naval Base San Diego, and MEPS San Diego with meal deliveries, care packages, toy drives, and special holiday programming.
At Camp Pendleton, every day is an opportunity to bring a smile to someone’s face, whether it’s a military spouse making a new friend at a Coffee Connection, a military child decorating their candy apple, a single service member learning about our USO Transitions program or receiving a Barracks Bag before deployment, every one-to-one interaction with our nation’s heroes is an impactful and meaningful moment.
Our 1,085 USO San Diego volunteers are dedicated to boosting the morale of our military service members and their families, whether at our centers or out in the community. With a combined contribution of 19,472 donated hours of volunteer service, our organization impact is heartfelt with every service connection we make.
In 2022, we aim to recruit more patriotic individuals who desire to give back to our service members and the military families who have already given so much to our country.

“Thank you so much for all that the USO does for families, especially during this very interesting time we live in... We moved here a year ago, ahead of my husband. We knew no one and could not live in military housing due to our dog, so we felt very isolated. It felt very lonely before we started coming to the USO. Thank you for being there for us, especially during that difficult transition. We really appreciate all that you do to support families!"The Hickman Family, USO San Diego Find out how to support USO
